Hey, I don't know if you can help me, but I can ask: latly, I have problems connecting with the internet. I can't be on browsers / msn, but xfire works some ppl think it's my router, but you have an idea if it could be something else?

Yeah it can be your router, but did you check your networking cables? I had that once 2, but I put all the cables in again (in the garage, our 'modem' is there) and it worked! Or maybe your provider has some problems... Hope this 'll help!

Telenet is much better if you live in belgium zan and yes the cables are plugged in right, but sometimes they come out... It 's like if you hold something in the air, you will hold a long time, but soon you wil have to let down

Maybe reinstall settings of your router and look at your explorer settings? Or contact your provider and explain the problem, maybe they could help. Grtz The Mamba

Check youre Firewall settings. I think its blocking your internet Ports (81,80). Just allow it to get a connection on that ports and youre problem will be solved. If it wont works contact me on PM. @ Mamba: If there would be a provider problem he wont be able to run XFIRE its surely a port problem. Your Provider is able to cut youre whole connection of, but not even on some ports... @ all others: IF there would be a router problem he wouldnt be able to run XFIRE... Please dont post without knowing anything about technical things!!!

The simpliest way is: deinstall all software that could be blocking your connection (virus scanners, software like hamachi...), when this solve the problem install one programm after another again, and check after every installation if there is everything still ok. If not you know what programm couses the problem. The second way is that youre going threw every menu and check it out for "port rules, internet firewalls..." but this takes a lot of time.
And theres another way, but its critical becouse youre losing some data that had been stored in the last days on your computer. But you could reset your computer back to a date in the past, with the Windows Rescure tool.
Grtz.
PS: with that less informations i cannot give good prognostics
