All weapons are legal EXCEPT fully automatics.
example = you can own an AK-47 with a single pull
but if you modify it to auto...illegal. Another: Mach9/10
Each state also has their own laws. Here in Indiana, I can own
my 30-30 or 30-06, but I can't hunt with them. WHAT ??
Because of the range and power, these rifles are reserved for
hunting in large open states such as Texas, Colorado, Utah, etc.
The only law right now to own firearms is that you now
have a 7 days waiting period that gun store owner have
to do a background check. If you have committed a felony,
you can not buy from a retailer. Thats why blackmarket
firearms are so prevelent in the US. Anyone can buy a gun
from someone.
This is the case with many of the mass murders in the US.
The MOST important thing to remember: " Guns don't kill,
people kill."
This is the reason for the 7 day rule. Don't want to sell a gun
to someone that is pissed that day and he goes seeks revenge.
Politically, that 7 days is supposed to make someone rethink
their actions before inforcing it. This law only pertains to handguns,
not rifles or shotguns
What a load of CRAP
If you can't buy it from the retailer for 7 days, just go to the
largest city around and you can get one within hours.
Someone has a drop gun or a hot one to sell you: unregistered.
